Derek Chisora v Joesph Parker headlines the Matchroom card on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK & DAZn around the world, May 1st.
The two heavyweights were scheduled to fight back in 2019 but a bizarre spider bite injury suffered by Parker saw that fight scrapped.
It’s a must win fight for both guys as they hope to get back into world title contention.
Here we get the predictions from some heavyweight boxers & trainers...
Fabio Wardley
I think a Chisora KO for me. Parker has shown stamina problems in the past and in with someone like Chisora who keeps up such a relentless pace with prove a problem for Parker and I think it’ll just wear him through towards the later rounds.

I think it’s a even fight, Chisora will hopefully let his hands go this time and I’d be confident he’d win. I watched Parker against Fa and was very disappointed with his display. I slightly favour Chisora but with no confidence at all as I believe both boxers are there to be beat.

Very interesting fight and great match up. The winner has some great opportunities ahead of them. Parker has good momentum behind him with 4 wins in a row, I believe changing trainer to Andy Lee will add a lot to his game. Chisora is a tough and high pressure fighter, a challenge for anyone in the division. I think he proved that in his last outing against Usyk.
My prediction is a points victory for Joseph Parker. His superior boxing ability and height & reach advantages will be too much for Derek Chisora.

If Chisora the warhorse turns up I think Parker is in for a good fight. Parker is the younger, fresher man & I can see a few knockdowns, maybe a couple each. I think it goes the distance & Parker just edges it but you can’t write Chisora of!

Joseph Parker has took Anthony Joshua & Dillian Whyte the distance, clearly has a great chin and has a fantastic work rate. Derek Chisora has only been knocked out twice so also has a fantastic chin and a great work rate. I personally think Parker takes it with his work rate and can see it being on a UD but it will be a great fight.
Derek Chisora v Joseph Parker is live on Sky Sports Box Office, May 1st.
