After the success of the original season of the World Boxing Super Series, consisting of the hotly contested Super Middleweights and Cruiserweights divisions, it was announced today that alongside the stellar Bantamweight line up we will also see the Super Lightweight division in season two.
The first batch of names are yet to be announced but in a stacked division there’s sure to be some fascinating bouts in the pipeline, newly crowned WBO kingpin Maurice Hooker and WBA champion Kiryl Relikh are sure to be of interest alongside top contenders such as Manchester’s Terry Flanagan, Scotland’s undefeated Josh Taylor and the often underwhelming Adrian Broner.
Speculation of course will run wild until the official confirmation from the enigmatic Sauerland brothers, stay tuned to @SimBoxx for all the latest news regarding this and all the latest boxing news!
