Miami Fight Night preview

This Thursday, Jan. 30 in Miami, Florida, ahead of the Super Bowl DAZN has its first card of the year as WBO Champion Demetrius Andrade (28-0) will defend his Title against contender Luke Keeler (17-2-1). Expect Andrade to deal with Keeler pretty early within 5 rounds and Keeler had 5KO’s so he does not even have a punchers chance.

Also featured is Tevin Farmer (30-4-1) defending his IBF world super featherweight title against JoJo Diaz (30-1) now this could be Farmers toughest defense as Diaz has only lost once which was in 2018 to Gary Russell Jr. I legitimately see this as a 50-50 fight Diaz by KO or Farmer by points I will stick my neck on the line and go with Diaz.

Finally unified world super bantamweight champion Daniel Roman (27-2-1) defending his titles against Murodjon Akhmadaliev (7-0) Some say this is going to be fight of the night as 2016 Olympian Akhmadaliev has an extensive amateur background and has a lot of power for the 122lb division. I expect this to go the full 12 and Roman to come on strong in the later rounds this will go as a draw or Roman by Split decision.

It’s a fantastic card for a Thursday night on Super Bowl week and we have two fights that could potentially be FOTY candidates,.
