With the start of Eddie Hearn and Matchroom’s #fightcamp imminent it really has got me excited for the return of, as Eddie says ‘no easy fights’ even if it is behind closed doors.
Although we have already seen the return of boxing with fights overseas and Frank Warrens version of Fight Camp, it really is the mouthwatering cards Matchroom have put together that really have the boxing world taking notice!
For me almost every fight taking place in Eddie’s back garden will be entertaining but here is the fight on each card that really does have me licking my lips:
#fightcamp1 - Jordan Gill vs Reece Bellotti
#fightcamp2 - Terri Harper vs Natasha Jonas
#fightcamp3 - Zelfa Barrett vs Eric Donovan
#fightcamp4 - Luther Clay vs Chris Kongo
These fights really have taken my fancy and will be sure to have me tuning in. At Simboxx we would love to hear your opinion on the fights i have chosen and any others that have interested you as im sure there is some great fights i have not mentioned.
Gill vs Bellotti really has drawn me in and grabbed my attention as my favourite #fightcamp battle with Barrett vs Donovan a close 2nd. For me this really is an amazing clash of styles which many have billed as boxer vs puncher. Gill without doubt goes into the fight as slight favourite but when a fighter carries power like that of Bellotti it only takes one punch. Bellotti has already said in a recent interview he believes this may be his last shot a greatness so will be grabbing this opportunity with both hands. If i was to put my neck on the line and give my opinion i genuinely believe Bellotti will be victorious, which im sure many of you will disagree with. The boxing world really is split right down the middle in opinion which is what makes this fight a great spectacle.
